Tech Lead

Summary

Join Axur, a company dedicated to internet safety, as a Tech Lead. Guide engineering teams in finding optimal technical solutions, collaborate with product teams on product development and release, and partner with other tech leaders to evolve the technical backlog. You will also fix and adjust existing solutions, participate in technical discussions, and support product operations. This remote position offers a flexible work environment and various benefits. Requirements

• Fluent Portuguese
• Advanced English
• Previous experience in a Tech Lead position
• Strong hands-on experience with the Java platform, relational databases, and automated testing in Unix-based environments
• Relevant cloud platform experience, preferably AWS
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns
• Solid knowledge of test-driven development and unit testing techniques
• Familiarity with distributed systems development, cloud computing, and use of IaaS

Responsibilities

• Guiding engineering teams to find and execute the best technical solutions for different scenarios
• Partnering with product teams to refine, develop, and release product backlog items
• Collaborating with other technical leaders to evolve the technical backlog
• Fixing and adjusting existing technical solutions
• Participating in technical discussions to seek the best viable solutions
• Supporting activities to ensure smooth operation of our products, including investigating and resolving problems

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with Infrastructure as Code (preferably CloudFormation)
• Experience with web scraping
• Knowledge and experience with Docker
