Summary

RecargaPay is seeking a Team Lead Engineer to lead a team of engineers, set project goals, and contribute to the technical direction of the company. The role requires a degree in Computer Science or related disciplines, experience in team leadership, knowledge of web applications, microservices architecture, and Java development.

Requirements

• Degree/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or related disciplines
• Experience in team leadership
• A solid understanding of how web applications work, including security, session management and development best practices
• Knowledge of Domain Oriented Design
• Proven ability to design complex distributed applications designed for high performance and throughput, while being scalable and reliable
• Development experience using Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, Kafka and AWS
• Experience with asynchronous programming
• Proven experience in profiling and performance tuning Java applications and using monitoring tools to monitor production applications

Responsibilities

• Establishes the team's objectives and project goals, ensuring alignment with the company's broader objectives
• Supervises and leads a team of engineers, ensuring that project deliverables are met on time and within budget
• Actively involved in recruiting, training and developing team members, fostering a productive and growth-oriented environment
• Collaborates with other technical leaders to align technology strategies with company objectives, contributing to the overall technical direction

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of microservices architecture is an advantage
