Tech Support Agent (L1/2)

You will provide technical support via phone and email, learn and understand company software applications, track client interactions, attend virtual meetings, and work closely with the primary support technician. The ideal candidate possesses 1+ years of tech support experience, strong problem-solving skills, basic troubleshooting experience with security systems, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a remote team. The position offers a monthly salary ranging from $1300 to $1600 USD, a 3-month trial period, and remote work. The role is for an independent contractor through a payroll platform.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in tech support or a related field
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn software quickly
• Basic troubleshooting experience with security systems, including cameras and access controls
• Flexible, with after-hours support coverage required (nights/weekends)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support via phone and email to assist customers with questions or issues related to software and security systems
• Learn and understand multiple software applications used by the company
• Track and document client interactions and support requests
• Attend virtual meetings to stay updated on company processes and software updates
• Work closely with the primary support technician by handling the majority of inbound support requests

Benefits

• The Salary range offered for this position varies from (USD) $1,300 - $1,600 per month, depending on seniority and skillset
• This position will start with a trial period of 3 months (full-time), depending on your performance will be extended as long-term contract
