Technical Advisor/Subject Matter Expert

Summary

Join Dexis, a professional services firm addressing global social challenges, as a Technical Advisor/Subject Matter Expert for Humanitarian Assistance (Senior). This less-than-full-time position, contingent upon contract award, supports the Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration (PRM)'s oversight of humanitarian aid for Palestinians. Based preferably in the region or remotely, you will provide technical direction, quality assurance, and subject matter expertise on monitoring design. The role involves data collection, analysis, and coordination with stakeholders. Selection is subject to client approval.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience implementing or monitoring humanitarian activities
• Advanced degree in social sciences, humanitarian policy, or other relevant technical or sectoral expertise
• Previous experience working with vulnerable populations

Responsibilities

• Support the team in technical design and ensure data collection and evaluation follows the established technical standards
• Ensure all data collection tools, reports, and deliverables are appropriate for use in humanitarian settings and appropriate for use with vulnerable populations
• Serve as a resource for the rest of the team on the context of the region and its populations
• Provide subject matter expertise on monitoring design, objectives, and strategies
• Coordinate technical oversight with relevant stakeholders
