Summary

Join Timmons Group's Asset Management group as an experienced Business Analyst! Remote options may be available. Leverage your workflow, technical skills, and project delivery experience to help clients implement geospatial technology solutions throughout the community development lifecycle. Collaborate with clients to understand their business processes and needs from various perspectives. Work with creative and technical teams to design, configure, develop, test, and deliver solutions using an iterative methodology. This role requires problem-solving skills, ownership of tasks, and a willingness to contribute ideas.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering, computing or business-related field
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Flexibility and creativity in order to adapt and adjust to each team, each project and each client
  • Ability to travel up to 25%+ of the time (post COVID)
  • Excellent communication skills; must communicate effectively with our internal development team and external clients
  • Ability to work with a diverse team and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Detail oriented and well organized
  • Self motivated

Responsibilities

  • Provide consultation and business analysis to design, configure and document technology-based solutions
  • Work on multiple projects of varying duration, size and complexity
  • Elicit, translate and simplify requirements
  • Document and organize acceptance criteria for user requirements
  • Motivate teams to work together, communicate and over-deliver
  • Provide outstanding customer service
  • Work with project teams during all phases of the project life cycle including requirements gathering and analysis, design, configure/build, test, training, deployment, and support
  • Facilitate community development requirements meetings with clients and internal teams
  • Define improvements to business processes, assist decision-makers in gathering information to make decisions and help quality assurance test solutions

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of Cityworks (or similar software) experience focused on engaging others in the delivery and execution of technical solutions and service deliverables preferred
  • Knowledge of Esri cloud, desktop, web and mobile product lines desired
  • Experience with practical community development software development; prior geospatial and community development experience a plus
