Summary

The job description is for a Technical Lead position at ZineOne, a subsidiary of Session AI. The role involves leading a team of junior engineers in building high-performing products with quality, timeliness, and scalability. The candidate should have experience in full-stack/backend development, Agile Development, SCRUM, or Extreme Programming methodologies, and strong JAVA development skills.

Requirements

• Proven experience in full-stack/backend development
• Logical thinker with the ability to clearly communicate the hypothesis
• Work cross-functionally with various other teams, including Product Management, SQE, Customer Success Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, and/or external business/design partner to drive forward results
• Demonstrate a passion for developing well-architected and elegant real-time and high-volume SaaS

Responsibilities

• Help build a high-performing team of engineers and lead this team to deliver products with quality, timeliness, and scalability
• Collaborate with Product Managers and other Engineering teams to ensure the development work aligns with our mission of delivering a remarkable experience to customers
• Provide guidance and mentorship to other team members
• Be hands-on to provide technical solutions to business problems

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with HBase, Kafka, NoSQL, Zookeeper, Ignite
• Experience with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS, Azure, GCP, etc
• Hands-on experience with Python
• Years of JavaScript experience
• Expertise with MVC, and strong working knowledge with at least 1 App Server (Jetty, JBoss, Tomcat, etc)
