Responsibilities

• Lead efforts to design and implement scalable backend services that drive user acquisition and support HubSpot’s ambitious growth goals
• Collaborate closely with a dynamic team of engineers, marketers, and product specialists to innovate and optimize the systems that power our acquisition strategies
• Provide technical leadership
• Mentor team members
• Play a crucial role in the strategic decision-making process, ensuring our backend technologies meet the demands of a rapidly changing market
• Lead a small team
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Data Science, and other Tech Leads to define and share relevant, compelling, and challenging goals for their team
• Work across teams with other TLs to resolve cross-team issues
• Proactively take ownership of their team’s on-call health and product reliability and quality
• Have an interest and opinion in the direction of the product and be an active member of the team’s leadership triad, co-setting the direction for the team
• Proactively look to grow the members of their team to enable them to take on harder and harder tasks
• Create and foster diverse teams and an inclusive culture
