Summary
Triple Whale is seeking a dynamic Technical Product Manager to support the development and management of innovative digital products. The role requires 2-3 years of experience in technical product management or 1-2 years in product management with prior experience in an adjacent technical role, and specific technical skills such as familiarity with web development, web analytics/online behavioral tracking, Big Query, SQL, third-party APIs, and the Shopify ecosystem. Requirements
- Minimum of 2-3 years in a technical product management role OR 1-2 years in product management with prior experience in an adjacent technical role
- The following technical skills/experience
- Familiarity with basic web development, especially ecommerce websites, and web analytics/online behavioral tracking
- Good understanding of client-side JavaScript and modern web technologies
- Familiarity with Big Query and/or any flavor of SQL
- Experience working with third-party APIs/API documentation
- Direct experience in the Shopify ecosystem is a huge plus
- Experience working on products in one or more of the following industries/fields
- Digital Marketing Measurement/Multi-touch Attribution
- SaaS offerings in the eCommerce space
- Web Analytics / Product Analytics Tools
- Business Intelligence Tools
- Applications without a COVER LETTER will not be considered
Responsibilities
- Identify customer needs and translate them into well defined software requirements
- Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and engineering counterparts, ensuring clear communication and alignment of implementation plans with expectations
- Stay informed about industry and general market and technical trends in the digital marketing and eCommerce industries
- Regularly monitor competitors and perform capability analyses
- Provide training for both internal teams and customers on product usage
- Respond to inquiries regarding the product and its features
- Evaluate and mitigate technical risks
- Comprehend and scrutinize data pipelines, algorithms, and automated systems
- Act as a product evangelist and subject matter expert within the technical and developer communities
- Manage beta testing processes
- Utilize product analytics and SQL to analyze performance metrics and evaluate product usage and customer value creation
- Support the development and upkeep of comprehensive product documentation
