Summary
Join Dev Technology Group as a Technical Project Lead to lead a team supporting a federal client's emergency management system. You will analyze complex challenges, develop solutions, and communicate recommendations to clients. Responsibilities include coordinating technical support during emergencies, maintaining a stable workforce, setting project goals, and managing project timelines and budgets. You will create project roadmaps, implement IT strategies, manage resources, and oversee security and compliance. The role requires utilizing Scrum methodologies and project management tools. This is a high-impact position contributing to a critical national emergency management system.
Requirements
- At least twelve years of experience in project management or a related field with a Bachelors degree and PMP certification or 10 years’ experience with a Masters degree and PMP certification
- Must have at least one of the following: IAT-I or higher OR one of the following: A+CE, Network+ CE, CND, or CCNA + Security
- Demonstrated ability to establish project goals and develop strategic plans to successfully achieve them
- Proven experience maintaining project timeframes, budgeting estimates, and detailed status reports
- Demonstrated capability to oversee the management of project resources, including both personnel and technical equipment
- Experience coordinating cross-functional team members, developing schedules, and assigning responsibilities to drive project success
- Ability to implement effective IT strategies that consistently deliver projects on time and within budget
- Proficiency in utilizing project management tools to track performance metrics and ensure adherence to established schedules
- Experience conducting comprehensive risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies to manage and reduce project risk
- Working knowledge and practical experience applying Scrum methodologies in Agile software development environments
- Capability to facilitate and lead meetings to evaluate project objectives and progress using Azure DevOps or other government-approved IT Program Management tools
Responsibilities
- Lead a talented team in supporting the federal client’s emergency management system
- Analyze complex challenges, develop effective solutions, and clearly communicate recommendations to clients to support informed decision-making and drive results
- Coordinate enhanced technical support during emergency response operations
- Provide timely, effective communication to the government client
- Maintain a stable and consistent workforce to ensure seamless operations
- Set project goals and develop comprehensive plans to meet those goals
- Maintain project timeframes, budgeting estimates, and status reports
- Create and maintain project roadmaps aligned with the client’s strategic objectives
- Implement IT strategies that deliver projects on schedule and within budget
- Develop and document a project management plan that addresses scope, schedule, and cost baselines
- Manage resources including computer equipment and employees
- Coordinate project team members and develop schedules and individual responsibilities
- Oversee security and compliance for relevant policies, regulations, and standards
- Use project management tools to track project performance and schedule adherence
- Conduct risk assessments for projects, develop mitigation strategies, and maintain a comprehensive risk register
- Utilize Scrum development methodologies
- Organize meetings to discuss project goals and progress using Azure DevOps or similar government-approved IT Program Management Software
- Implement an effective stakeholder engagement strategy
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with M365, Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and legacy app modernization projects strongly preferred
