Technical Support Engineer

Summary

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in application support
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• Knowledge of DevOps methodologies and CI/CD
• Good knowledge of database manipulation skills (e.g., MSSQL/T-SQL scripts/queries)
• Good knowledge of IIS troubleshooting (e.g., using Windows server event viewer logs)
• Proven ability to work within service level agreements to solve customer issues
• Willingness to work in shifts
• Very good knowledge of SDLC and STLC processes
• Experience with ITIL framework to assist in day-to-day BAU Operations
• Experience in working with cross-functional teams spread across geographies
• Customer-focused and goal-oriented with keen attention to detail
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of single sign-on
• Good knowledge of RDBMS, SQL Server preferred
• Experience in debugging apps with API/REST services
• Understanding of Terraform, Observability, and error handling in cloud setups
• Knowledge of Elastic Search

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support applications
• Troubleshoot application issues and coordinate with multiple teams to resolve them
• Work within service level agreements to address customer issues
• Work in shifts
• Escalate and follow up on blocking issues and deviations from standard operating procedures
• Assist in day-to-day BAU operations using the ITIL framework
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across different geographical locations
• Maintain a customer-focused and goal-oriented approach with attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to write automated scripts/queries for validating applications
• Any Azure/DevOps certification
• Experience in Release Management & Coordination
• Experience in leading teams
