Technical Support Engineer

Summary

Join FIS Global as a Technical Support Engineer and contribute to a team supporting banking applications for clients in Germany. You will provide second-level support, conduct technical analyses, maintain components, support interfaces, and develop bank-specific extensions. Requirements

• (Technical) university degree in computer science or business informatics
• Experience in common programming languages, especially SQL
• Strong customer and team orientation and communication skills
• Pronounced analytical skills, results orientation and quality-oriented work, as well as very good analytical skills
• Good German and English skills (written and spoken)

Responsibilities

• Provide Second Level Support (Incidentmanagement) for the technical operation of banking applications, especially the core banking application (savings, fixed-term deposits, loans, payment transactions, customer data)
• Conduct technical analyses for troubleshooting
• Support and maintain technical components (especially customer-specific adaptations)
• Support interfaces to external systems
• Develop bank-specific extensions in close coordination with our customers
• Perform IT Service Management taking into account the relevant service and process standards (ITIL)
• Conduct additionally compensated on-call duties
