Technical Support Engineer

Summary

Join our financial services client as an Application Support Engineer, working in Grapevine, TX (hybrid schedule) to maintain and provide technical support for applications beyond the development stage.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in application support or a related field
• 4+ years of experience in Distributed Application Support. (cloud, on-premises, hybrid)
• Hands-on experience with Java/J2EE, XML, HTML, JavaScript, NodeJS
• Working experience with Unix, Linux, Windows, and SQL/PLSQL
• Experience with container platforms like Redhat OpenShift
• Financial Services experience

Responsibilities

• Work closely with development teams, infrastructure partners, and internal/external clients to resolve technical support incidents and ensure smooth operations
• Support applications built on Java/J2EE, XML, HTML, JavaScript, NodeJS
• Work on Unix, Linux, Windows platforms with SQL/PLSQL databases
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in a distributed environment
• Provide technical support for applications in production environments
