Technical Support Lead (L2 Operations & DevOps)

Summary

Join Eurofins Scientific as a remote Application Support Specialist based anywhere in Romania. This role requires a minimum of 10 years of experience in application support, excellent communication skills, and knowledge of DevOps methodologies, CI/CD, database manipulation, and IIS troubleshooting. You will troubleshoot applications, coordinate with multiple teams, work within service level agreements, and handle escalations. Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in application support
• Excellent verbal/written English communication skills
• Knowledge of DevOps methodologies, CI /CD
• Good knowledge on database manipulation skills (like MSSQL/T-SQL scripts/queries)
• Good knowledge of IIS troubleshooting (such as by using the event viewer logs from Windows server)
• Willing to work in shifts
• Very good knowledge in SDLC and STLC process
• Experience with ITIL framework to assist in day-to-day BAU Operations
• Experience in working with cross functional teams spread across geographies
• Customer focused and goal orientated with keen attention to details
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of single sign on
• Good knowledge of RDBMS, SQL Server preferred
• Experience in debugging the apps with API / REST services
• Understand of terraform, Observability, Error handling in Cloud setups
• Knowledge of Elastic Search - Mandatory

Responsibilities

• Application troubleshooting and ability to coordinate with multiple teams to solve the issues
• Proven ability to work within service level agreement to solve customer issues
• Escalate and follow-up in a timely manner about all blocking issues and issue deviations from SOPs

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Release Management & Coordination is good to have
• Experience with leading teams
• Writing automated scripts / queries for validating applications would be appreciated
• Any Azure / DevOPS certification
