Summary

Ultima Genomics is seeking a highly motivated Technical Support Specialist I to join their team in a rapidly growing life sciences technology company. The role involves working with data, troubleshooting, cross-functional collaboration, and process improvement. A bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field, excellent communication skills, and experience with large spreadsheets are required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical field. Bioengineering or Biomedical majors are preferred
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• Capable of manipulating large spreadsheets using Excel and Google Sheets
• Data oriented, experience working with complex systems
• Comfortable working in a rapidly changing environment
• Diligent and methodical at problem-solving
• Strong organizational and time management skills

Responsibilities

• Work together with our global support, engineering, and data analytics teams to improve customer response and facilitate actionable plans across the fleet
• Troubleshoot data pipeline and other remote challenges
• Direct customers to the correct team for escalations
• Work cross-functionally to ensure support issues are resolved
• Document and shepherd issues through an escalation process
• Maintain a status dashboard for management and executive teams
• Help identify opportunities for process improvement and build processes to increase efficiency
