Telecommunications Installer Level II in United States

Summary

The job is for a Telecommunications Installer (Level II) in the Southeast region with remote work and occasional travel. The preferred location is Tampa, Florida. The employee will work under Level III or IV technicians and perform various installation tasks on DC power equipment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• Two years of experience in electrical or telecommunication installation activities
• Valid driver's license
• Strong Computer skills including Microsoft Outlook / Excel / Word
• Ability and willingness to travel 75% of the time
• Ability and willingness to work varying shifts (swing shifts)

Responsibilities

• Addition or removal of telecommunication equipment hardware
• Addition or removal of wiring and connections
• On-time completion and quality of the installation project
• Support job package administration including weekly tool inventory and creation of daily timesheet
• Responsible for inventory and staging of equipment and materials, weekly status report to supervisor, reading and interpreting specifications and drawings
• Assist Level IV & III Technicians with Lead verification (voltage), adding or removing batteries, adding or removing common systems equipment hardware
