Telehealth Nurse Practitioner Or Physician Assistant

Summary

Join Amaze Health, a virtual healthcare company, as a Telehealth Advanced Practice Provider (APP) – Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician's Assistant (PA). You will provide remote patient care consultations, delivering personalized care and support. This role requires a minimum of three years of experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or family/primary medicine, plus two years in rural medicine. You must hold an active, unrestricted NP or PA license and live in a specified state (Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Missouri, Nevada, Ohio, Pennsylvania, or Texas). Amaze Health offers a positive work culture and competitive pay ($45-$70/hr). The position involves a five-day work week, including weekends, with hours ranging from 5 PM to 2 AM MST.

Requirements

• Minimal of three (3) years experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or family/primary medicine as an APP
• Two (2) years experience in rural medicine as an APP
• Must hold an active unrestrictive license as an Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Ability to provide compassionate care and establish patient rapport
• Strong understanding of examination methodologies to include lab work, images, and patient medical records and diagnostics and their interpretation
• Broad knowledge of common medication, side effects and contraindications
• Respect for patient’s confidentiality and desires for their own healthcare
• Must be authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Ask intuitive questions to discover cause(s) of illness, injury or medical issue
• Reach an informed diagnosis based on scientific knowledge and the patient’s medical history, exam, and testing
• Prescribe and interpret lab tests to obtain more information
• Prescribe medications and provide comprehensive instructions for administration
• Collaborate with Physicians, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners and extended team to form a high performing medical team
• Be able to continually learn and innovate for better patient care and outcomes
• Cultivate a climate of trust and compassion with patients
• Be willing to adapt and overcome issues as they arise for the betterment of patients
• Support a patient population from newborn to geriatric

Preferred Qualifications

Multiple APP licenses are a plus

Benefits

• Pay Range is $45- $70/hr
• The shift for this position is 5 days a week to include a weekend day
• Hours for this shift are five (5) days a week starting as early as 5pm MST and ending as late as 2am MST
