Telehealth Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Summary

Join Journey Clinical, a healthtech platform expanding access to Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), as a medical professional. You will conduct patient intake, prescribe KAP via telemedicine, monitor outcomes, and collaborate with a team of psychotherapists and care coordinators. Responsibilities include developing treatment plans, providing feedback on the care management system, and reporting to the Lead Clinician. The ideal candidate is licensed to practice in Maryland with DEA registration, possesses relevant psychiatric experience, and is comfortable prescribing controlled substances. Requirements

• Licensed to practice in Maryland
• DEA registration in Maryland
• Minimum 1 year psych related experience + post boards
• Comfortable prescribing controlled substances when medically appropriate
• Comfortable prescribing for anxiety and depression
• Ability to quickly synthesize medical and psychiatric information about the patient to formulate effective and evidence-based clinical recommendations
• Patient-first mindset, deep work ethic and dedication to the highest level of patient care
• Willing to use a few simple tools to make your life easier (Slack, G Suite, Zoom, etc.)
• Comfortable working remotely in a Telehealth fast-paced startup environment
• Interest for the field of psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy to transform mental health

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient intake and follow up consultations to evaluate ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP) eligibility, prescribe, and monitor patient outcomes via telemedicine
• Suggest treatment plan changes based on patient response to medication and treatment outcomes
• Engage in collaborative care with Journey Clinical member psychotherapists
• Work with Journey Clinical care coordinator to streamline your workflow
• Continuously and promptly give honest feedback on the Journey Clinical care management system to improve our services
• Report directly to the Lead Clinician and collaborate with the leadership team and the co-founders

Preferred Qualifications

1 year psych experience as a PMHNP
