Requirements
- Bachelorโs degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in test automation using tools such as Cucumber, Selenium, and/or Playwright
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and CI/CD practices within a software development environment
- Demonstrated ability to develop, implement, and maintain robust automated test suites
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in identifying, documenting, and troubleshooting issues
- The ability to pass a background check is required
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test suites using tools such as Cucumber, Selenium, and/or Playwright
- Create and execute functional, regression, and performance tests based on user stories and acceptance criteria
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to define test strategies and refine acceptance criteria
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery processes
- Troubleshoot, document, and report test results and defects, ensuring timely resolution
- Participate in daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings as part of an agile team
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for test cases, test plans, and automation frameworks
- Assist in migrating legacy test suites to modern automation frameworks as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on government IT modernization projects or within a federal contracting environment
- Familiarity with additional test automation tools and frameworks
- Knowledge of software development best practices, including code reviews and version control
- Relevant industry certifications or training in test automation, quality assurance, or related disciplines
