Summary

ALTEN Mexico is seeking a Junior Tester to conduct software testing activities, identify and report issues, collaborate with development teams, maintain test documentation, and ensure compliance with quality standards. The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related field, understanding of testing methodologies, experience in manual testing, knowledge of bug tracking systems, basic programming skills, strong analytical abilities, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Electronics Engineering or any related field
• Understanding of testing methodologies and techniques (ISTQB)
• Experience in manual testing of software applications
• Knowledge of bug tracking systems and test management tools
• Basic programming skills (e.g., Java, Python)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Conducting testing activities based on defined test plans and test cases
• Identifying and documenting defects and issues
• Collaborating with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues
• Maintaining and updating test documentation
• Participating in the creation and execution of test plans
• Ensuring compliance with quality standards and procedures
