Summary

The job description is for a Junior Tester position at ALTEN Mexico, a subsidiary of the global engineering and technology company ALTEN Group. The Junior Tester will be responsible for conducting software testing activities, identifying and reporting issues, and ensuring the quality of software applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Electronics Engineering or any related field
• Understanding of testing methodologies and techniques (ISTQB)
• Experience in manual testing of software applications
• Knowledge of bug tracking systems and test management tools
• Basic programming skills (e.g., Java, Python)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• English B2
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Conducting testing activities based on defined test plans and test cases
• Identifying and documenting defects and issues
• Collaborating with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues
• Maintaining and updating test documentation
• Participating in the creation and execution of test plans
• Ensuring compliance with quality standards and procedures
