Summary

ALTEN Mexico is seeking motivated individuals for a part-time (20h/week) Tester Trainee position in their subsidiary. The role involves assisting with test planning, executing test cases, identifying defects, collaborating with the development team, and participating in test environment setup and maintenance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Electronics Engineering or any related field
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Knowledge of software testing concepts and methodologies
• Basic programming skills (Java, Python, or similar)
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Willingness to work in a team-oriented environment

Responsibilities

• Assisting with test planning and test case development
• Executing test cases and documenting results
• Identifying and reporting software defects
• Collaborating with the development team to troubleshoot and resolve issues
• Participating in test environment setup and maintenance
