Summary
Join Testlio as a remote Testing Coordinator based in Southeast Asia (Vietnam, Thailand, Philippines, or Indonesia)! You will play a key role in ensuring the quality of client projects, working closely with clients and testers. Responsibilities include test case writing, run coordination, and team management. You'll need at least two years of hands-on testing experience and excellent communication skills in English and Chinese. Requirements
- Passion, curiosity, and focused interest in the field of software testing
- At least 2 years of hands-on testing experience, preferably also on mobile platforms
- Good knowledge of software testing methodologies and procedures, including a basic understanding of various Testing methodologies and Testing vocabulary
- Strong time management, problem-solving, task delegation, and prioritization capabilities
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills in English
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Chinese
- Ability to work well under pressure and in an environment of constant change
- Analytical and detail-oriented, and can give constructive feedback to testers
- Enjoy actively participating in a highly collaborative team
- Fast learner, continuously improving your testing and software development knowledge
- Socially open-minded, expressing empathy and consideration for cultural differences
Responsibilities
- Ensure the quality of a Test Run by following recommended practices established within Testlio based on years of experience
- Create Test cases based on the testing strategy provided by the Testing Manager
- Lead and coordinate Test Runs from start to finish, working with the Testing Manager
- Conduct ongoing issue review activities and initiate appropriate follow-up actions for each project: Respond to client issue feedback
- Verify Fixed Issues
- Review issue backlogs
- Proactively update the test plans by incorporating individual tester and client feedback
- Raise project and team-related risks, problems, and questions with the Engagement Managers and Testing Managers
- Monitor Testers and Test Leads across multiple runs, providing constructive feedback, involving new testers in runs, and initiating tester reporting whenever necessary
- Escalate any run-related and operational matters to the Testing Manager
- Work closely with other Testing Managers, Engagement Managers, Account Directors, and relevant stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction
- Proactively define priorities based on the work backlog, escalating priority concerns or conflicts
- With the supervision of the Testing Manager, monitor the projectβs quality KPIs and take appropriate actions to improve them
- Substitute other Testing Coordinators and act as a backup when needed
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience working with the Testlio Platform
- Prior customer-facing experience
- At least 1 year of experience managing or working with freelance testers
