Join Study Group's Central Timetabling Configuration team as a full-time, remote employee! You will support UKEU campuses in timetable preparation using various systems. Responsibilities include assisting with timetable preparation and processing changes, maintaining high customer service standards, and collaborating on system improvements. Essential requirements include recent customer support experience with system/process knowledge and building effective working relationships. Desirable qualifications include a degree or equivalent, timetabling accreditation, and higher education experience in the UK. Requirements

  • Recent work in a customer support role (or similar) requiring sound system or process knowledge
  • Building effective working relationships

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the preparation of timetables to support ISCs in the UKEU network, using the various systems as required
  • Assist with the processing of timetabling changes as required
  • Maintain high standards of customer service to key stakeholders
  • Preparation of robust timetables within expected SLAs to meet business goals and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate with the Manager to review and analyse the use of timetabling systems and processes and implement changes to improve efficiency
  • Collaborate with the Manager to ensure the appropriate planning and scheduling of inbound timetabling work, including liaising and negotiating with campus-based stakeholders to ensure needs can be met
  • Assist with the identification of requirements to feed into system design and configuration
  • Assist with testing of new systems and processes
  • Assist with implementation duties as required, including training and coaching of new users

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree educated or equivalent experience
  • Timetabling-related accreditation
  • Previous experience in a Higher Education setting in UK
  • Delivery of large, complex timetables in an education setting
  • Educational Timetabling or similar scheduling expertise
