Trading Product Designer

Summary

The ideal candidate possesses 5+ years of UX/UI experience in trading or fintech, a design-related degree, and excellent communication skills. Requirements

• 5+ years of UX/UI experience, within trading, financial products or from a fintech platform
• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field
• Experience across multiple technologies, locations, and channels, web experience is essential
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate and defend your design decisions
• Exceptional visual design skills, with a sharp eye for detail, color, typography, and layout

Responsibilities

• Translate product requirements and user flows into user-friendly web interfaces
• Develop high-fidelity mockups, interactive prototypes, and detailed UI specifications that clearly communicate design intent to non-designers
• Champion the principles of web design, ensuring a seamless and optimized experience across a range of screen sizes and resolutions
• Design and define intuitive and innovative gesture-based interactions to enhance usability and create a fluid user experience
• Stay at the forefront of web UI trends, patterns, and technologies, and be a vocal advocate for their application within the BitMEX platform
• Collaborate with the Product and Engineering team to iterate on and refine UI elements based on user feedback and performance data
• Regularly present design solutions and prototypes to the broader Retail Product team and key stakeholders

Derivative trading knowledge is highly desirable
