Trainee BI Analytics Developer

Summary

The Trainee BI Analytics Developer will assist in designing, building, and deploying cloud reports and dashboards at Octopus Digital. This entry-level position is ideal for fresh graduates or individuals with minimal experience in relevant skillsets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field
• Fresh graduate or up to 1 year of experience in relevant skillset areas/software

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, building, and deploying cloud reports and dashboards
• Learn and utilize DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and other query languages to generate analytics and develop dashboards
• Support cross-functional departments by developing idea-based dashboards and reports
• Participate in solving problems and taking ownership of issues related to dashboards, data acquisition, installation, and service delivery
• Collaborate with teams to integrate systems
• Help set up workspaces, reports, dashboards, and scheduled refreshes
• Provide creative solutions to highlight data value through various reports and dashboards
• Contribute to the improvement of the organizational IP suite and maintenance of projects

Preferred Qualifications

• Industrial experience is a plus
• Familiarity with PowerBI is preferred but not mandatory
