Summary

Join Roadsurfer as a remote Training and Onboarding Specialist based in Nevada or Arizona! This role involves extensive travel (80-90%) across North America to conduct onboarding and training for new hires at various stations. Requirements

  • Reside full time in Arizona or Nevada
  • Have a valid US passport
  • Have a valid in-state driver's license
  • Complete on-the-job training in Germany for 3-4 weeks upon being hired
  • Possess strong communication and presentation skills
  • Have at least 1-2 years of training or learning experience, ideally in a fast-paced environment
  • Be independent and flexible, ready to travel across cities and countries as needed
  • Be a constructive feedback giver and receiver, committed to continuous growth
  • Possess empathy and patience to support and guide team members effectively
  • Be fluent in English
  • Ability to travel up to 80% of the time within the continental US and Canada

Responsibilities

  • Enhance and deliver an onboarding experience for new employees and hiring managers
  • Travel to different locations to deliver hands-on, practical training sessions
  • Using our digital training tools, create and lead interactive training sessions
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to pass along essential information and updates to our team members across stations
  • Provide ongoing consultation on Learning & Development research, learning theory and technologies, instructional design, and learning technologies
  • Collaborate with Training & Learning partners in Germany on training implementation plans and feedback cycle to drive continuous improvement
  • Create and refine training materials, guides, and resources that make learning straightforward and effective for all team members
  • Routinely measure and assess the effectiveness of training being conducted to ensure expectations and contractual obligations are being met
  • Perform other duties as requested

Preferred Qualifications

  • Additional languages are a plus
  • Training & Development Certifications a plus
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field a plus
  • A strategic mindset, with the ability to connect effective development initiatives with business needs
  • Knowledge and experience with different training delivery methods (OJT, Web-based, etc.) and types (technical, professional, team, safety, etc.)
