Responsibilities include providing first-line oversight of operational activities, ensuring appropriate controls and governance, collaborating with stakeholders, identifying and assessing risks, maintaining management information, conducting root cause analysis, tracking open actions, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The role requires a proactive communicator with excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and timely escalation skills. Responsibilities
- Provide first line oversight of operational activities performed on behalf of the SIPP Trustee
- Ensure appropriate controls and governance are in place to manage risk and ensure regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess and monitor key processes related to SIPP administration (e.g. benefits processing, contributions, transfers)
- Ensure SIPP Trustee risks are identified, assessed, and accurately recorded
- Maintain effective management information (MI) and ensure it remains relevant and fit for purpose in response to risk, audit findings, and regulatory change
- Conduct root cause analysis of exceptions and trends to inform risk management and drive continuous improvement
- Track and monitor open actions, ensuring timely updates and appropriate closure
- Ensure all duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, including Consumer Duty
Preferred Qualifications
CISI Investment Operations Certificate (IOC) or CII CF1 and FA2 are desirable
