Tutor Education Specialist

Summary

The Association of Test Preparation, Admissions, and Private Tutoring (TPAPT) is hiring an experienced Educational Therapist / Math Tutor for remote work. The position involves creating study plans for neurodivergent students, tutoring sessions, and requires a Bachelor's degree with experience in EF based learning, SPED, or ASD.

Requirements

• An earned Bachelor's degree (Masters preferred)
• Knowledge of and demonstrable experience with EF based learning, SPED, or ASD
• Subject matter expertise with one or more of the following: Grades 9-12 Math, ELA, Grades 1-8 General Education, or certified Reading programs

Responsibilities

• Use our assessments to create dynamic study plans for students classified as 'neurodivergent
• Tutoring sessions take place in our learning center, online, or at a local school
• Tutoring sessions last 60-90 minutes

Preferred Qualifications

Ideal candidates will have a strong academic background and >3 years of experience as a teacher or tutor

Benefits

• $30 - $50/hr commensurate
