Tutor, Grades 1-5

Summary

Join TPAPT's team as a remote tutor providing academic support to K12 students in ELA and Math (grades 1-6). You'll work with small groups, helping students achieve their academic goals using provided iXL online curriculum. This part-time (10-15 hours/week) position requires excellent communication skills and adaptability. The role is remote, located in the Eastern Time Zone of the United States. Compensation is $14-$16/hour with a reliable weekly schedule, training, and curriculum provided.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Must be fluent in both English and Urdu
• PA certification in Elementary Education, Early Childhood, or Special Education
• Experience tutoring or teaching K12 students, preferably in a remote setting
• Strong knowledge and understanding of the subject matter being taught
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple students and assignments
• Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace

Responsibilities

• Conduct online instructional sessions for individuals or small groups using our curriculum
• Create engaging and interactive lesson plans based on students' individual needs
• Provide clear explanations and examples to help students understand difficult concepts
• Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback
• Maintain organized records of tutoring sessions and student progress
