Summary

Join Alimentiv as an Ultrasound Technologist and play a key role in ensuring the quality of Intestinal Ultrasound (IUS) central reading services within clinical trials. You will support clinical trial imaging site feasibility, provide training and technical equipment troubleshooting, and offer technical guidance to stakeholders. This role contributes to the successful integration of IUS into global IBD trials. Responsibilities include collaborating with the study team, conducting quality checks, developing training programs, and offering technical expertise in IUS techniques and equipment. The position requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree, RDMS certification, and 4-6 years of related experience. Home-based work with occasional travel is expected.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or master's degree with 4-6 years of related experience
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or equivalent is required

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the study team to verify trial sites meet minimum criteria for selection
  • Support evaluation of site capabilities to ensure adherence to imaging protocols and quality standards
  • Conduct and analyze ongoing quality checks of imaging data to maintain high standards throughout the trial lifecycle
  • Support the development and delivery of training programs for site and/or CRO Β (Alimentiv or lead CRO) personnel to perform IUS procedures accurately and consistently (virtual / on-site)
  • Provide comprehensive training on proper patient positioning, imaging techniques, and protocol adherence
  • Address questions and concerns from site staff regarding IUS procedures and protocol requirements
  • Possess a deep understanding of current Intestinal Ultrasound techniques, equipment makes and models, and imaging protocols specific to IBD trials
  • Offer guidance on optimizing image quality and acquiring relevant anatomical views for accurate assessments
  • Collaborate closely with the study team, including Clinical Project Managers, Imaging Scientists and Central Readers, to ensure seamless integration of IUS central reading services into IBD trials
  • Serve as a point of contact for site personnel, addressing queries and providing ongoing support

Preferred Qualifications

  • Clinical Trial experience preferred
  • Proven experience with a mix of ultrasound machine models
