Summary

Sigma Defense is seeking a Unity Developer to create complex game logic for AR/VR and mixed reality systems for Navy training scenarios. The candidate should have at least 2-3 years of relevant work experience with Unity, 3D, and C#, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar field.

Requirements

2-3 years of relevant work experience with Unity, 3D, and C#
Experience designing and implementing Virtual and/or Augmented Reality applications in Unity for Meta Quest, HoloLens or equivalent headsets
Ability to write clean, scalable, and maintainable code using C# within the Unity framework
Good troubleshooting skills with knowledge of identifying bottlenecks
Strong knowledge of object-oriented design principles
Candidate must possess an active, DoD-issued Secret security clearance. A clearance will be sponsored for the right candidate

Responsibilities

Develop complex game logic for AR/VR and mixed reality systems
Develop and maintain engaging simulations in a collaborative team environment
Create interactive training tools to enhance military preparedness

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience with DoD projects specifically VR simulation training for the Navy, best if they live in or near San Diego, willing to conduct on-site visits with customer when needed but this is mostly a remote position
