Summary
Kaeppel Consulting is seeking a highly skilled User Experience Consultant with experience in customer design and Sprint Design Methodologies developed at Google. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver exceptional user experiences, utilize Google Sprint Design Methodologies, develop Service Blueprints, conduct user research, create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups, work closely with stakeholders, present design concepts, iterate on designs based on feedback, and ensure designs comply with brand guidelines and accessibility standards. A Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Requirements
- Proven experience in customer design and UX methodologies
- Expertise in Google Sprint Design Methodologies
- Strong ability to develop Service Blueprints
- Proficiency in UX design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a remote environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver exceptional user experiences
- Utilize Google Sprint Design Methodologies to rapidly prototype and test solutions
- Develop detailed Service Blueprints to map out and optimize the customer journey
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and inform design decisions
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate design ideas effectively
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure designs meet business objectives and user needs
- Present design concepts and solutions to clients and internal teams
- Iterate on designs based on feedback from users and stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Familiarity with front-end development languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices
