Summary
Join The Points Guy, a leading expert in award travel, as a freelance UX researcher. You will utilize both qualitative and quantitative methods to enhance user engagement with our app, website, and tools. Your responsibilities include conducting moderated and unmoderated studies, surveys, and user interviews to understand user needs and behavior. You will analyze and synthesize user data, presenting findings to stakeholders. This role requires 5+ years of UX research experience and strong data synthesis, communication, and presentation skills. Experience with various research tools is also necessary. The ideal candidate will have experience in fintech, travel, or loyalty/rewards programs.
Requirements
- 5+ years of UX research experience (qual + quant)
- Highly-skilled data synthesis skills with ability to keep findings focused and actionable
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience with Userlytics, UserTesting, Dovetail, GA, SurveyMonkey, etc
- Self-starter who’s comfortable working independently and remotely
- Portfolio with case studies (quant and qual) that includes performance impact
Responsibilities
- Moderated + unmoderated studies to validate solutions for web and mobile projects on our roadmap, translating insights into actionable product and design recommendations
- Surveys, user interviews and consumer research to understand user needs and behavior, identifying new opportunities for our business
- Analyze + synthesize user data, presenting findings in a clear, compelling way to stakeholders at all levels of the company
Preferred Qualifications
- Have experience in fintech, travel, or loyalty/rewards
- Know your way around credit card rewards or loyalty programs
