Summary

Join Modea as a UX Designer II and visually design innovative user interfaces for our clients. This mid-level role requires full-time experience in high-fidelity visual design and strong communication skills. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing expert input on customer needs. Expect increasing complexity in projects, supporting the design and development of web and mobile experiences. The position offers flexibility with options for fully remote, fully in-office, or hybrid work arrangements in Virginia, Tennessee, or North Carolina.

Requirements

  • View design as a collaborative art, facilitating conversations, and working with internal and external teams to meet the project goals: Be a great listener and communicator (oral and written) to effectively collaborate with clients, end-users and team members

  • Be passionate about digital design
  • Have a college degree or a similar degree of life experience
  • Have 2 years of work experience in digital product design
  • Be an expert using industry-standard design software like Figma, Sketch, Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Have experience doing UI design on multiple web and mobile projects
  • Have some experience with atomic design or a similar component-based approach
  • Understand the principles and practice of Mobile First and Responsive web design

Responsibilities

  • Create high-quality designs that will help the end-user realize greater value from their web or mobile experience
  • Support user experience research and testing: interview live users of the clientโ€™s website or app, help develop personas and conduct research that provides a clear understanding of how design, site architecture, and content can impact the userโ€™s experience
  • Meet project goals and deadlines including being a part of regular meetings and collaborating with the rest of the team
  • Have knowledge of design and accessibility best practices
  • Assist peers by participating in ad hoc work reviews
  • Performs other duties as assigned that are reasonably within scope of this position

Preferred Qualifications

Experience designing for healthcare-related products or services is a plus
