Summary

Join Adaptiq, a technology hub supporting R&D teams for product companies, as a Ruby on Rails Developer. You will collaborate with architects to design and build new applications using Ruby on Rails and Go, managing the entire development lifecycle from design to deployment. Maintain the stability and reliability of production systems, working with a support team to resolve issues. Improve existing services by implementing best practices. This role requires extensive experience with Ruby on Rails, database technologies, and API development. Requirements

  • Have 4+ years of experience in developing server applications with Ruby on Rails
  • Have experience in designing and implementing data-driven applications powered by both MySQL, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL (Redis, MongoDB) solutions
  • Have experience in optimizing performance in relational databases
  • Have experience writing RESTful APIs and understand the HTTP protocol
  • Have experience writing unit and integration tests

Responsibilities

  • Develop the full software development life-cycle of new applications, starting with technical design together with architects and ending with deployment to production together with the DevOps team
  • Maintain production stability, working with a dedicated support team
  • Improve the technical health of existing services using best practices from architects, infrastructure teams, or your own ideas

Preferred Qualifications

  • Have experience developing in Golang
  • Have experience working with React
  • Have experience with gRPC/protobuf, ApacheThrift
  • Have experience solving high-load problems
  • Have experience with concurrent applications
