Vehicle Supervisor / Teleoperator

Summary

Join our team as a part-time Remote Vehicle Supervisor / Teleoperator in Bern! You will remotely monitor and supervise autonomous delivery vehicles twice weekly, ensuring safe and compliant operations. This role requires strong computer skills, familiarity with Bern's urban environment, and excellent communication in German, with English or French a plus. Flexibility is key, with availability needed within a 45-minute notice window on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. On-site presence at the Bern office is required during vehicle operations. Hours may increase as the project grows. No weekend work is required.

Requirements

• Good knowledge of Bern’s streets and surroundings
• Strong computer skills and ability to use monitoring software/tools
• Strong German language
• English or French language
• Flexible availability on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for changing delivery windows
• Must work on-site at the office in Bern during vehicle operation
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-evolving environment

Responsibilities

• Remotely monitor and supervise the autonomous vehicle during scheduled delivery operations
• Ensure safe and compliant vehicle performance during active hours
• React promptly and appropriately to any necessary interventions or unexpected events
• Communicate with both internal team (French/English) and the customer’s team (primarily German-speaking)
• Be available within a 45-minute notice window before deliveries, and adaptable to varying delivery times (e.g., morning and/or late afternoon)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in remote supervision or teleoperation is a plus
