Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in data and analytics, with a proven track record of leadership in a similar role, preferably within the SaaS or technology industry
• Experience managing and leading a high-performing data and analytics team
• Proficiency in data warehousing, ETL processes, and BI tools
• Strong understanding of data modeling, data architecture, and database design principles
• Knowledge of advanced analytics techniques, machine learning, and AI/ML concepts

Responsibilities

• Enhance Data Strategy: Evaluate and refine the existing data strategy to ensure alignment with the company’s evolving business objectives and growth plans
• Optimize Analytics and Insights: Enhance the existing analytics and data visualization capabilities by identifying opportunities for improvement
• Optimize Data Infrastructure and Technologies: Assess and optimize the current data infrastructure and technologies to ensure scalability, reliability, and security
• Team Leadership and Development: Lead and mentor the existing data and analytics team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other departments to understand their data and analytics requirements and deliver solutions that support their objectives
• Thought leadership and Executive Partnership: Serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership, providing data-driven insights and recommendations to inform decision-making and drive business growth
• Data Governance and Compliance: Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure the company's data's integrity, accuracy, and privacy
• Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in business intelligence, data analytics, and AI/ML
• Strategic Budget Management: Review and optimize the department’s budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing ROI on data and analytics investments

Benefits

• Base Compensation Range: $250,000 - $270,000
• Additional Components: Performance-based bonus, equity, and a generous benefits program
