Join Aledade as the Vice President, Commercial Contracting and lead the execution of value-based care contracts with national and regional health plans. This role focuses on negotiating contracts for commercially insured members and involves managing a team, shaping company strategy, and fostering relationships with key stakeholders. The position offers flexibility with geographic location, allowing for remote work from anywhere in the U.S. or from the Bethesda, MD headquarters. Requirements
- 15+ years experience in healthcare with health plans, health systems or provider groups working on contract negotiations within value-based care with a focus on Commercially insured populations
- 7+ years experience managing and leading teams
- Bachelorโs degree
Responsibilities
- Lead the evaluation of prospective payer partnerships, including reading, negotiating and executing value-based care contracts for Commercial members/patients
- Qualify and source market growth and expansion for multi-year risk arrangements
- Develop and nurture relationships with key stakeholders and team members within Aledade
- Manage the Commercial segment within the Strategic Payer Partnerships team, including motivating team members, setting performance goals, career development, annual performance reviews, etc
- Help shape the company's strategy for value-based contracting on behalf of independent primary care practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Masterโs degree or other advanced degrees in management, health services and/or public policy, or other relevant fields
- Results-oriented with the ability to exercise influence to achieve goals
- Proven track record of creating, maintaining, and enhancing relationships and communicating effectively with senior management
- Expert at business development at local and national level
- Passionate about driving the shift from fee-for-service to value based care
