Summary

CoreWeave is seeking an experienced leader with a background in mechanical or electrical engineering for the Vice President of Design and Construction position. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and constructing data centers, aligning with the company's objectives and operational needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering; Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
  • 15-20 years of experience in data center design, construction, and project management

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a strategic vision for the design and construction of data centers
  • Lead the design and co-development efforts for new data center projects
  • Collaborate closely with senior leadership to identify opportunities for innovation
  • Oversee all aspects of data center construction projects from inception to completion
  • Manage a portfolio of construction projects, including both colocation facilities and in-house constructions
  • Coordinate with internal teams, external contractors, and vendors to drive project success
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance on mechanical and electrical engineering principles
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations governing data center construction
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize data center performance, reliability, and energy efficiency
  • Build and mentor a high-performing team of design and construction professionals
