Vice President of Finance - Long Range Financial Planning and Capital

Requirements

• Public Accounting or other Accounting experience
• 12+ years in Strategic Finance; 7+ years managing an effective team strategically aligned with company goals
• Accounting or Finance degree; Master’s preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute long-range financial plans, including 3–5 year business plans and scenario analysis
• Working with the Chief Strategy Officer, develop and implement long-term capital expenditure plans, ensuring alignment with the company's overall financial strategy and goals
• Manage the market model, including linkage of forward market data to sales targeting data
• Build long range financial model based on these inputs
• Provide strategic financial advice and support to executive leadership on various initiatives, including M&A activities
• Evaluate the financial viability of proposed capital projects, considering factors such as ROI, risk assessment, and long-term implications
• Oversee the development and management of the annual capital budget, including the allocation of funds to various projects and the linkage to the LRP
• Working with Accounting and the PMO, track the progress of capital projects, monitor costs, and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
• Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with capital projects and investments
• Prepare reports on the financial performance of capital assets, including returns on investment, cost variances, and project performance metrics

• Educational publishing experience a plus
• M&A experience a plus

Benefits

• The expected base salary range for this position is $228,000-$261,000, however the offered salary may be higher or lower than the above range dependent on numerous factors including, but not limited to location, work experience, skills and internal equity considerations
• The base salary is not inclusive of benefits or other incentives
• Remote
