Vice President Project and Alliance Management

Summary

The Vice President of Project and Alliance Management will oversee all client project management and alliance management activities for Translational Sciences at Precision for Medicine. They will lead a team of professionals in delivering specialty lab and central lab services across seven sites worldwide. The role requires a Bachelor's degree, deep experience managing projects/programs in the biopharmaceutical industry, CRO/client service delivery experience, and strong organizational skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, advanced degree preferred
• Deep experience managing and leading projects/programs at a pre-clinical and clinical stage within the biopharmaceutical or healthcare industry
• CRO / client service delivery experience
• Demonstrated ability to work and collaborate across a geographically dispersed and highly matrixed organization

Responsibilities

• Oversee all client project management (PM) and alliance management (AM) activities for Translational Sciences
• Lead a talented team of PM and AM professionals in delivering a range of specialty lab and central lab services across seven sites worldwide
• Proactively identify, design, implement and continually improve project and portfolio management systems and information sharing
• Departmental operations, including responsibility for budget and resourcing models
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across sites, units and functions to develop high performing teams
• Set clear performance standards and hold self and organization accountable for achieving results
• Ensure effective collaboration among teams to optimize pipeline execution and cost management
• Manage formal or ad hoc internal processes regarding project decision points
• Serve as neutral facilitator, communicate openly and timely, horizontally and vertically in order to achieve transparency of project progress

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s with a concentration in a scientific-related discipline and/or advance degree strongly preferred
• 15+ years of relevant experience preferred, or equivalent combination of advanced education and experience and/or training
