Remote Vice President, Renewals

Summary

The Vice President of Renewals is a strategic leadership role responsible for managing the Renewals function at Ping Identity. The person in this position will lead and develop strategies to optimize customer renewal processes, ensuring timely and successful renewals with high customer satisfaction. They will report directly to the Chief Customer Officer.

Requirements

• Minimum 15 years of experience in customer renewal management, account management, or related roles within the software or technology industry
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Marketing, or a related field
• Minimum 7 years of experience in a people management role
• Strong understanding of customer renewal strategies, practices, and processes
• Proven track record of successfully driving customer retention and revenue growth through effective renewal management
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Renewals function
• Develop and execute renewal strategies, processes, and initiatives
• Define and track key renewal metrics
• Provide leadership and guidance to the Renewals team
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent in Business, Marketing, or a related field
• Knowledge of subscription-based business models and recurring revenue metrics
• Strong financial acumen and understanding of revenue forecasting and budgeting processes
