Summary

The job description is for a Video Editor position at CookUnity, a chef-to-you marketplace. The role involves creating compelling video content across various channels, collaborating with the Head of Performance Creative Strategy, and meeting brand specifications. The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of experience in video production, editing, and motion graphics.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in video editing
• Effective communicator and storyteller
• Proficient in video creation/editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, DaVinci Resolve)
• Knowledge of aspect ratios, video encoding formats, hi-res file transfer applications
• Experience with social media channels and content creation
• Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail
• Ability to manage own projects and work independently

Responsibilities

• Creative ideation, production and editing of video content for CookUnity across all channels (paid and organic social media, website, in app, etc.)
• Collaborate with Head of Performance Creative Strategy to determine content direction and details
• Implement creative notes from stakeholder teams
• Ensure content meets brand specs and guidelines
• Identify and implement improvements in video production processes
• Keeping up-to-date with the latest video marketing trends

Preferred Qualifications

• Production (shooting) ability/interest
• Experience in performance creative functions
• Deep understanding of social media platforms (e.g., Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Snapchat, etc)
