- Strong understanding of Meta (Facebook & Instagram) and TikTok ad formats, guidelines, and best practices
- Demonstrated ability to create engaging, fast-paced videos with effective use of quick cuts, transitions, and text overlays to grab attention within the first few seconds
- Experience editing for vertical formats and optimizing for mobile platforms
- Knowledge of storytelling techniques that can be applied to short-form videos to capture and retain audience attention
- Attention to detail with the ability to ensure consistent quality and branding across all video outputs
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with the creative, marketing, and client teams
- Creative mindset with the ability to propose new ideas for video styles and content based on platform trends and performance data
Responsibilities
- Edit and produce high-quality UGC videos for Meta and TikTok ads
- Implement fast cuts, dynamic transitions, text overlays, and effects to enhance viewer engagement
- Ensure all videos are optimized for platform specifications, including aspect ratios, durations, and resolutions
- Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to align video content with ad strategies, messaging, and branding guidelines
- Keep up with current trends in social media content creation, particularly on Meta and TikTok, to ensure ads remain fresh and engaging
- Edit content with mobile users in mind, optimizing for vertical viewing and short-form consumption
- Manage multiple video projects simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of quality and meeting deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with e-commerce brands or performance marketing agencies
- Knowledge of motion graphics, basic animation, and color grading
- Familiarity with social media analytics and how video performance impacts ad success
- Ability to work with user feedback and adapt videos based on performance metrics and insights
