Join our team as a Freelance Video Editor on a contract basis, producing high-quality product videos for client and marketing purposes. You will edit and assemble raw footage into polished videos, trim segments, add music, dialogues, graphics, and effects, and ensure logical sequencing and smooth running. Collaboration with our creative team is essential to align with project goals and brand standards. You will also continuously explore and implement new editing technologies and best practices to maximize efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar
• Strong understanding of timing, motivation, and continuity in filmmaking
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with a remote team
• Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for visual aesthetics
• Self-motivated and a problem solver with excellent time management skills

Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble recorded raw material into a polished and professional video product
• Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film
• Input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects
• Create rough and final cuts while ensuring logical sequencing and smooth running
• Collaborate with our creative team to ensure alignment with project goals and brand standards
• Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of motion graphics and visual effects
• Experience with color grading and sound design
• Familiarity with various video formats and compression techniques
