Videogames Tester

Summary

The job is for a Game QA Tester at PTW, a global games services company. The position requires on-site presence and English proficiency. The role involves testing video games during the initial development stage to detect bugs or glitches. Training will be provided.

Requirements

• To love videogames
• Advanced proficiency in English (able to read, write, listen and speak)
• Availability to work from 10h00 to 19h00. (with 1 hour for lunch), from Mondays to Fridays
• 18+ years old
• Great observational skills and attention to detail
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft’s office suites

Responsibilities

• Testing games and software to find bugs and following test plans and checklists set by Test Leads to ensure the game functions correctly
• Report bugs into tracking database and re-test bugs once they’re fixed by developers by collaborating with colleagues, Senior Testers and Test Leads
• Report all glitches and bugs on the platform
• Communicating any issues to your Lead and recommending game additions or modifications
• Working as part of a global Games QA squad
