Vietnamese Transcriber

Summary

Join us as a Vietnamese Transcriber and work remotely on your own schedule contributing to cutting-edge technology research! This project-based contract position pays USD 1.53 per audio minute transcribed. You will transcribe audio files for talk-to-text technology research, following provided guidelines and meeting deadlines. The workload is project-dependent, and communication with project managers is via email. Candidates must be fluent in Vietnamese and possess excellent grammar and punctuation skills. An Upwork profile is required or must be created upon hiring. Note that this position is not available to candidates residing in Vietnam or the United States.

Requirements

• Native-level (C2) proficiency in Vietnamese (ISO: vi_vn) including the ability to read and write
• Excellent grammar/orthography and punctuation in Vietnamese
• Have an Upwork profile, or be willing to create an Upwork profile
• High-speed internet access
• Access to e-mail

Responsibilities

• Transcribe all assigned audio files
• Follow project guidelines
• Meet project deadlines
• Make consistent progress on assigned audio files
• Communicate with project managers in a timely and effective manner
• Communicate in English with project managers via email (verbal communication is not required)
