Virtual Mental Health Therapist

Join Discovery Mood and Anxiety, a leading behavioral healthcare organization, as a fully remote Therapist in our Virtual Outpatient Program! This role involves providing treatment services, ensuring patient safety, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. You will conduct individual and family therapy sessions, lead groups, and manage a caseload of 12-15 patients across Florida, Virginia, Texas, and Connecticut. The position requires a Master's or Doctorate degree in a relevant field, an active clinical license in Maryland and Connecticut (with preference for additional licenses), and adherence to a Monday-Friday schedule (12 pm - 8 pm EST). Requirements

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in relevant field
• Completion of state requirements to conduct therapeutic interventions
• Hold an active clinical license in the state of Maryland and Connecticut
• Possess a current driver’s license and be in good standing

Responsibilities

• Ensure clinical documentation is completed timely throughout the course of treatment
• Establish therapeutic rapport with patients and families/loved ones
• Carry a case load of 12-15 in Outpatient
• Facilitate admission assessments and the admission process for new patients with professionalism, courtesy, and a welcoming attitude
• Understand role in providing expeditious access to care for individuals seeking services
• Participate in weekly treatment team and communicate weekly treatment goals with all team members
• Complete appropriate number of therapy sessions weekly for patients, including family/support system sessions aligned with the patients’ level of care
• Facilitate process orientated and psychoeducation groups 2-4 times daily in Outpatient
• Effectively manage crises in sessions and the milieu
• Work collaboratively with the entire treatment team and milieu staff to always ensure the highest level of clinical quality

Preferred Qualifications

Hold an active clinical license in Florida, Texas, and/or Virginia
