Virtual Nurse Practitioner

Summary

Join Ro's remote team as a contract Nurse Practitioner and provide high-quality, patient-centric care using telehealth. You will conduct consultations synchronously and asynchronously, utilizing a custom EMR to evaluate patient records, diagnose, prescribe, and offer lifestyle recommendations. This role requires strong communication skills, technological proficiency, and adherence to best practices. Ideal candidates possess at least 5 years of experience, including telemedicine experience, and hold board certification in Family Nurse Practitioner or Adult Gerontology Primary Care. A commitment of at least 10 hours per week is preferred.

Requirements

• Board Certification in Family Nurse Practitioner or Adult Gerontology Primary Care
• 5 years of experience
• Telemedicine experience

Responsibilities

• Conduct consultations both synchronously and asynchronously based on state telemedicine regulations
• Provide care using our custom EMR: evaluating patient records, diagnosing and prescribing medication, and making lifestyle recommendations
• Follow best practices and company-specific policies for diagnosis, treatment, and documentation
• Answer patient questions related to their treatment and provide high-quality counseling

Preferred Qualifications

• Ideally can commit at least 10 hours per week
• Ideally a minimum of 5 state licenses in Independent Practice States
