Virtual Reality Occupational Therapist

Requirements

• Tertiary qualification as an Occupational Therapist
• Interest and experience in paediatric Occupational Therapy
• Registration with AHPRA
• Appropriate home office setup, including a high-speed internet connection and a computer/laptop/tablet for use in Telehealth
• Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

• Perform initial assessment sessions according to standards of practice and assess whether the patient is appropriate for the program
• Deliver evidence-based therapy interventions both individually and group focused
• Document patient progress according to standards
• Send full progress reports to the referring physician if and when required

Preferred Qualifications

An interest in the role of emerging technology in Occupational Therapy practice
